Travog has partnered with Mastercard to launch a travel and expense card designed to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) manage business travel spending with greater control and visibility.

Integrated with Travog’s travel and expense management platform, the card brings bookings, payments, approvals and reporting together in one system, helping businesses streamline expense management and reduce manual processes.

The solution allows employees to pay for approved business travel expenses while enabling organisations to set spending limits, enforce policy rules and manage approvals before and during trips.

By linking card transactions with travel bookings and expense workflows, the platform provides finance teams with real-time visibility into spending, faster reconciliation and improved policy compliance.

“Business travel payments should be simple for employees and transparent for finance teams. Our collaboration with Mastercard brings payment, policy and travel data together in Travog, helping organisations manage spend as it happens instead of after the trip is over,” said Gaurav Chiripal, CEO of Travog.

Omoke Adebanjo, Senior Vice President, Merchants and Commerce, EEMEA, Mastercard, said: “Business travel and expense management are becoming strategic priorities for organisations that need better visibility, control and efficiency across every transaction. By bringing Mastercard’s payments capabilities together with Travog’s integrated travel and expense platform, we are helping businesses move from fragmented processes to a more seamless, secure and data-driven way to manage spend.”

The solution combines Travog’s AI-powered self-booking, expense management, approval workflows and analytics with Mastercard’s global payments network and payment capabilities.

It is designed to help businesses identify policy exceptions earlier, reduce administrative work and improve financial reporting.

Travog supports organisations across Asia-Pacific (APAC) and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) with tools for bookings, policy compliance, expense capture, approvals, reimbursements and reporting.

The new card extends its existing platform by integrating controlled payments into the same workflow, offering businesses a more connected approach to managing corporate travel expenses. -TradeArabia News Service
