Dubai Safari Park opened its doors for Season 8 today (October 12) welcoming visitors with a week of family-friendly activities and wildlife experiences during the school mid-term break.
Running from October 12 to 18, the Wildest Opening Week
features activities at the African Village Plaza Area, including Little
Explorers’ Base Camp, a dedicated adventure zone for younger visitors open
daily from 10am to 6pm.
The zone offers safari-themed face painting, temporary tattoos, arts and crafts, lawn games and inflatables.
Children can also
participate in the Wild Creations Clay Station, where they can paint animal
figures such as lions, monkeys and hippos, while the Wild Ink station provides
safari-inspired temporary tattoos for visitors of all ages.
Families can enjoy giant versions of classic games, including Connect 4, Jenga and Tic-Tac-Toe.
The opening celebrations also
feature The Wild Welcome, a 25-minute stage show marking the start of the new
season.
Beyond the opening-week festivities, visitors can explore
the park’s range of wildlife attractions, including drive-through safari tours,
daily live presentations and close-up animal encounters designed to encourage
greater appreciation of wildlife and conservation.
The Arabian Desert Safari Tour is included with all park
tickets, while visitors can upgrade to the Safari Bundle for the Explorer
Safari Tour, offering opportunities to see lions, giraffes and rhinos in
open-range habitats.
For those seeking more exclusive experiences, the park offers premium packages such as King of Safari, Behind the Scenes, Dine in the Wild and Jungle Capture.
These experiences include options for private tours,
behind-the-scenes access and dining near animals.
The park’s live presentations include Bird’s Kingdom, Echoes
of the Wild and Birds of Prey, providing insights into animal behaviour and
conservation efforts.
The new season aims to combine entertainment, education and
wildlife encounters, offering visitors of different ages opportunities to
engage with animals while enjoying a range of outdoor activities.
With its expanded programme of family attractions and safari
experiences, Dubai Safari Park is inviting residents and tourists to discover
its wildlife offerings throughout Season 8. -TradeArabia News Service
