Gulf Air, Bahrain’s national carrier, ranked first in the Middle East and Africa for on-time arrivals in September 2026, according to the latest monthly report by aviation analytics provider Cirium.
The airline achieved
an on-time arrival rate of 92.90%, rising from 92.47% in August and moving up
from second place to the top position in the regional rankings.
The result also marked
Gulf Air’s second consecutive month as the Middle East’s most punctual airline.
Cirium’s September
On-Time Performance Monthly Report highlighted the carrier’s strong performance
across several operational indicators.
Gulf Air recorded an
on-time departure rate of 91.58%, while 83.02% of its flights were completed
within the scheduled block time.
Both figures were the
highest among the five airlines featured in Cirium’s Middle East and Africa
operational highlights.
The airline also
achieved a completion factor of 99.44%, operating a total of 4,089 flights
during September.
The results reflect
Gulf Air’s continued focus on operational efficiency, effective planning and
service reliability, supported by the coordinated efforts of its operations,
engineering and ground services teams, as well as flight crews.
