Accor and Dubai-based developer CITYVIEW Developments have signed an agreement for Mövenpick Residences Dubai Motor City, marking the world’s first standalone Mövenpick Residences and the first branded residential development in Dubai Motor City.

The 408-residence project is scheduled for completion and opening in 2028.

The development will feature studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom residences, alongside amenities including a fitness centre, indoor and outdoor lounges, padel court, BBQ area, pet grooming facilities, kids club and multiple swimming pools.

Residents will also have access to the Accor Owner Benefits Programme, including enhanced status in the ALL Accor loyalty programme and privileges at participating hotels and resorts.

“Branded residences are evolving beyond the traditional luxury segment, opening new opportunities to bring hospitality-led living to a broader range of owners and communities,” said Raki Phillips, Regional President for the Premium, Midscale and Economy division across the Middle East, Africa & Türkiye, at Accor. “Mövenpick is particularly well positioned for this next phase, combining global brand recognition with an approachable premium brand rooted in joyful reconnection, generosity and a genuine sense of togetherness. As Mövenpick’s first standalone residences worldwide and the first branded residential development in Dubai Motor City, the project demonstrates how we are extending the strength of Accor’s brands into new residential environments while responding to how people increasingly want to live.”

Located in Dubai Motor City, the project will bring hospitality-led living to an established residential community with retail, dining and leisure facilities.

It is around 20 minutes from Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Marina and approximately 30 minutes from Downtown Dubai, Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport.

The project comes as Dubai’s branded residential market continues to expand. Transaction volumes increased 26% year-on-year and total sales value rose 51% during the first nine months of 2025, according to the announcement. Knight Frank’s The Residence Report (2026/27) estimates that more than 31,300 branded units are planned in Dubai between 2025 and 2030.

“Accor One Living brings dedicated residential expertise to every stage of development, from concept and design through to the curation of services and operations. Working with our partners from the outset allows us to translate the strength of our brands into well-defined residential concepts, creating a distinctive living experience for homeowners shaped by thoughtful design, services and lifestyle benefits across the wider Accor ecosystem,” said Daniel von Barloewen, Senior Vice President, Global Mixed-Use Development at Accor One Living.

Iskander Enikeev, Director of Commercial Strategy at CITYVIEW Developments, commented: “Motor City has long been one of Dubai’s most established and well-rounded residential communities. The arrival of its first branded residences marks a natural evolution, bringing elevated design, curated amenities and a more complete lifestyle experience, with wellness and longevity at its core. Our vision goes beyond traditional residential amenities, creating an environment that encourages movement, recovery, healthier routines and long-term wellbeing as part of everyday life. Our growing partnership with Accor brings together global hospitality expertise, brand strength and a shared ambition to create residences that enhance both quality of life and long-term value. It also establishes a strong foundation for further projects together across Dubai.”

The project follows the partners’ Hyde Residences Dubai Hills and supports their plans to explore further developments across Dubai. -TradeArabia News Service
