Qatar Airways has secured four titles at the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2026, while retaining its 5-Star Airline rating, recognising the carrier’s passenger service, business-class offering and onboard connectivity.
The airline was named World’s Best Business Class for the
13th time, Best Airline in the Middle East for the 14th time, and World’s Best
Business Class Lounge for the eighth time.
It also became the first airline to receive the newly
awarded World’s Best Onboard Wi-Fi title.
Hamad Al-Khater, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive

Skytrax, including the World's Best Business Class for a thirteenth time and
the first award ever given for the World's Best Onboard Wi-Fi. These awards

The carrier’s Qsuite Business Class product was again
recognised as the World’s Best Business Class.
The offering features private suites designed for working,
dining, socialising and relaxing, alongside its patented four-person Qsuite
Quad configuration, which allows passengers to create a shared space using four
centre seats.
Qatar Airways also received the Middle East’s top airline
award for the 14th time.
The carrier has expanded its regional services for the
winter season, with daily flights increasing by 14 per cent.
The World’s Best Business Class Lounge award went to Al
Mourjan Business Lounge – The Garden at Hamad International Airport.
Overlooking The ORCHARD, the lounge combines contemporary
design with spaces focused on comfort, wellness and nature.
The airline’s first World’s Best Onboard Wi-Fi title
highlights its investment in inflight connectivity.
Qatar Airways operates what it describes as the world’s
first and largest Starlink-equipped widebody fleet, with more than 25 million
passengers having used connectivity across more than 96,000 flights.
The latest awards come as Qatar Airways prepares to mark its
30th anniversary next year, with the airline continuing to focus on premium
