Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, has opened bookings for its new direct service between Bahrain International Airport (BAH) and Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL), with flights set to begin on September 29, 2026.
The route expands the airline’s
international network and strengthens air links between Bahrain and Malaysia,
while providing passengers with year-round access to one of Southeast Asia’s
key travel and business hubs.
As part of the launch, Gulf Air will
operate an enhanced flight schedule to Kuala Lumpur ahead of the Formula 1 Gulf
Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2026 in Malaysia, adding capacity and flexibility for
fans and travellers attending the event.
Following the race period, the route will
transition into a permanent service operating on a regular schedule.
