NEOPAY, a UAE-based digital payments enabler, has launched Unified Payments Interface (UPI) acceptance for online bookings at At the Top, Burj Khalifa, in partnership with NPCI International Payments Limited (NIPL) and Emaar Entertainment.

The initiative makes At the Top the first UAE attraction to introduce UPI for e-commerce transactions, allowing Indian visitors to purchase tickets and experiences through the official website using a secure and familiar payment method widely used across India.

The launch expands NEOPAY’s partnership with NIPL, which began with QR-based UPI merchant payments in the UAE in 2022.

The latest development extends the service to online transactions, enabling visitors to complete bookings before arriving in the country.

As one of Dubai’s most popular attractions, At the Top, Burj Khalifa welcomes millions of visitors each year, including a significant number from India.

The new payment option aims to create a smoother digital journey for travellers while strengthening financial connectivity between India and the UAE.

NEOPAY said the integration reflects growing demand for seamless cross-border payment solutions and supports merchants in serving one of the UAE’s largest and most digitally connected visitor markets.

Vibhor Mundhada, CEO of NEOPAY, said: "At NEOPAY, our focus is on simplifying commerce and creating seamless payment experiences for merchants and consumers alike. The launch of UPI acceptance for online bookings at ‘At the Top, Burj Khalifa’ represents a landmark moment in that journey. By bringing one of India's most trusted payment platforms to one of the world's most iconic destinations, we are making it easier for millions of Indian visitors to engage with the UAE's tourism and attractions sector. As the first company in the GCC to introduce UPI acceptance for e-commerce transactions, we are proud to continue driving innovation in cross-border payments while helping merchants unlock new growth opportunities.

Ritesh Shukla, MD & CEO of NPCI International, said: "Indian travellers are increasingly seeking payment experiences that are simple, familiar and seamless when they travel abroad. By enabling UPI acceptance for online bookings at At the Top, Burj Khalifa, we are making it easier for them to use a payment method they know and trust while planning their visit, even before they arrive in the UAE.
