Abu Dhabi-based Modon Holding and Nammos Hotels & Resorts have announced Nammos Ras El Hekma, the lifestyle brand's first fully integrated destination in Egypt, marking an addition to the country's North Coast tourism and hospitality sector.
Located within the
Wadi Yemm precinct of the Ras El Hekma master development, the project will
combine Nammos Residences, Nammos Resort, Nammos Village, and a range of
hospitality, retail, wellness and dining experiences, including the
internationally recognised Nammos Restaurant & Beach Club.
The residential
component will feature 72 apartments ranging from one to four bedrooms, along
with a penthouse.
The resort will offer
79 hotel accommodations across five categories, including junior, one- and
two-bedroom, presidential and celebration suites.
Residents and guests
will have access to wellness facilities, swimming pools, spa services, fitness
centres, children's amenities, private dining spaces and direct access to
beachfront hospitality experiences.
Nammos Village will
serve as a lifestyle hub, blending retail, wellness, art and leisure in a
setting inspired by traditional Mediterranean villages.
The development's
architecture draws inspiration from Mediterranean and Cycladic design,
incorporating natural materials, arched forms and open indoor-outdoor spaces
that complement the North Coast's coastal landscape.
Nammos Ras El Hekma
forms part of the $35 billion Ras El Hekma masterplan, a 170.8
million-square-metre project aimed at transforming Egypt's North Coast into a
world-class city.
Expected to attract $110
billion in investment by 2045, the development will include residential,
commercial, hospitality and cultural districts, supported by a new
international airport, high-speed rail connections, highways, marinas and a
dedicated cruise terminal.
Spanning 44 kilometres
of Mediterranean coastline, Ras El Hekma is being developed as a year-round
destination for tourism, business and lifestyle, with Wadi Yemm becoming the
first of its 17 planned precincts to enter the delivery phase.
Bill O’Regan, Group CEO of Modon Holding, said: “Ras El Hekma is fast emerging as one of the Mediterranean’s most ambitious destinations, and the progress we have made to date reflects the scale of our long-term vision. With Wadi Yemm now in delivery and a growing collection of globally recognised brands choosing to be part of the destination, we are building a vibrant, year-round city designed to deliver world-class living, leisure and investment for generations to come. Nammos Ras El Hekma is a natural extension of that vision, introducing a distinctive lifestyle offering that further enhances the destination’s appeal to residents, visitors and investors alike.”
Petros Stathis, Chairman of Nammos, said: “The launch of Nammos Ras El Hekma marks an important milestone in our global growth strategy. Egypt’s North Coast is rapidly establishing itself as a world-class destination, and Ras El Hekma provides an exceptional platform for the continued expansion of the Nammos brand.”
Carolyn Turnbull, CEO
of Nammos Hotels & Resorts, said: “Nammos Ras El Hekma has been
designed as a place where hospitality, residences and lifestyle come together
in a seamless and authentic way. Inspired by the energy, elegance and spirit
that have defined Nammos for more than two decades, the destination will create
exceptional experiences that connect people and celebrate life.” -TradeArabia News Service
