Low-cost Saudi carrier flyadeal has launched its first service to India with the inaugural Riyadh–Hyderabad flight, marking a significant milestone in the airline’s international expansion.
The maiden flight landed at GMR Hyderabad International
Airport on July 4, where it was welcomed by senior airport and airline
officials.
The daily service will be operated using an Airbus A320neo
with 186 all-Economy seats, featuring USB charging ports and Airbus’ Airspace
cabin.
The route offers passengers convenient schedules and onward
connections to multiple destinations across Saudi Arabia through flyadeal’s
domestic network.
The addition of flyadeal strengthens Hyderabad Airport’s
position as an expanding international gateway, which now connects to 76
domestic and 24 international destinations.
The new service is expected to meet rising demand from
business travellers, expatriates and leisure passengers while enhancing air
links between India and Saudi Arabia.
The launch also supports Hyderabad Airport’s strategy to
expand international connectivity and diversify airline partnerships.
