Wego, the Middle East and North Africa’s online travel marketplace, has partnered with the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) to increase awareness of Hong Kong among MENA travellers through a year-round destination campaign.
The collaboration will showcase Hong Kong’s seasonal
attractions, highlighting its mix of cultural experiences, entertainment,
nature, dining, shopping, and family-friendly activities.
The campaign aims to inspire travellers to explore the city
through curated content, destination guides, and seasonal recommendations
across Wego’s platforms.
Summer promotions will focus on Hong Kong’s outdoor
experiences, including adventures across Lantau Island, Cheung Chau, and Sai
Kung, featuring beaches, hiking trails, island escapes, and waterfront
activities.
The winter campaign will spotlight festive attractions such
as WinterFest, holiday markets, seasonal light displays, and New Year
celebrations.
The partnership comes as travellers increasingly seek
destinations offering diverse experiences within a single trip.
Wego and HKTB said the initiative will strengthen Hong
Kong’s appeal as a year-round destination for MENA visitors, promoting its
iconic landmarks, cultural heritage, luxury retail, and culinary offerings
while encouraging travel bookings from the region.
