TUI Group is accelerating the expansion of its Hotels & Resorts division, advancing key projects across Asia and Africa while strengthening its international portfolio in both established and emerging year-round destinations.

In Asia, TUI operates 25 hotels in China and Southeast Asia, with more than 30 additional projects planned.

A milestone is the signing of the five-star TUI Blue Yangtze Shanghai, developed in a historic building near People’s Square and scheduled to open on June 1, 2026.

The hotel will blend modern lifestyle design with high-quality dining and services for international and Chinese guests.

TUI is also preparing to launch its first TUI Blue hotel in Japan, a year-round mountain resort in Hokkaido focused on winter sports, nature and contemporary hospitality.

Further growth is underway in Vietnam and other new destinations.

In Africa, TUI continues to expand beyond its strong North African base, with projects including a new TUI Magic Life resort in Agadir, a first TUI Blue in Gambia and developments in Zanzibar.

Bookings have also opened for Robinson Boa Vista in Cape Verde, opening March 2027, offering 322 rooms, extensive sports facilities, wellness amenities and an all-inclusive concept.

“TUI Hotels & Resorts is developing very dynamically worldwide. With our brands such as Robinson, TUI Blue and Riu, we are expanding the portfolio step by step. Today, twelve hotel brands with more than 460 hotels worldwide belong to TUI Hotels & Resorts, with more than 70 additional hotels already in the pipeline. This strengthens our international presence, opens up new markets and creates attractive offerings for diverse target groups,” says Artur Gerber, Co CEO TUI Hotels & Resorts. -TradeArabia News Service
