Mandarin Oriental strengthened its standing in the 2026 Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Awards, earning strong global recognition.

The Group received the highest number of newly awarded Five-Star hotels this year, adding four properties: Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich; Mandarin Oriental Qianmen, Beijing; Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona; and Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi.

Mandarin Oriental is also one of two brands worldwide with 11 properties holding multiple Five-Star awards across hotel, spa, and restaurant categories.

Mandarin Oriental, New York marked its 20th consecutive year of dual Five-Star recognition for both its hotel and spa, making it the longest-running double Five-Star property globally.

Other recognised properties include Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino, the only double Five-Star property in Greece, and Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona, the only hotel and spa in the city with Five-Star status.

“Forbes Five-Star recognition is one of the most rigorous benchmarks in luxury hospitality, and these achievements speak to the consistency, craftsmanship and emotional connection our colleagues deliver across every touchpoint,” said Amanda Hyndman, Chief Operating Officer of Mandarin Oriental. “From landmark destinations such as New York and Hong Kong to resort experiences like Costa Navarino and Lake Como, this recognition reflects our belief that true luxury is created through mastery, care and an uncompromising commitment to exceptional experiences.” -TradeArabia News Service
