Jakarta launches new-look Mandarin

CELEBRATING the re-opening and refurbishing of the Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta, guests booking a two-night stay between October 1 and December 28 will receive a $50 credit which can be used within the hotel’s facilities.
The hotel will have 272 guest rooms including 56 oversized Mandarin rooms and six suites. All accommodation has been designed in a classic contemporary style, combining modern facilities with the Group’s oriental heritage and Indonesian culture. Features include in-room technology, which includes PC and iPod connectivity, 42-inch LCD televisions a complete in-room surround sound audio system and mood-control lighting.
Dining is available in four outlets – a regional Chinese restaurant, a French brasserie, a signature Mandarin Oriental cake shop and a bar overlooking the main Jakarta thoroughfare.
More than 1,000 sq m of meeting and banqueting facilities with natural daylight and the latest technology can cater for from 14 to 600 guests.
Leisure facilities include a fitness centre with personalised treatment rooms as well as an outdoor pool surrounded by tropical gardens.
