The Residence Zanzibar offers family fun for everyone

With school holidays fast approaching, The Residence Zanzibar has created stimulating programmes designed to take into account the preferences of their youngest valued guests.

Nestled amongst 32 hectares of tropical gardens, The Residence Zanzibar is fringed by a pristine mile-long beach and is the ultimate family friendly destination for relaxation, rejuvenation and fun. This luxurious villa-only resort just off the coast of Tanzania provides the ideal location for a family getaway with endless activities for those looking to relax as well as for those eager to explore.

The Kids Club features a variety of activities to keep children entertained and excited throughout their visit whether they’re natural water babies and enjoy snorkeling or they prefer to be on land making friends and watching movies.

Catering to kids of every age, there’s evening yoga class, a mini massage or a babysitter. Each villa is equipped for two children to stay with their parents at no extra cost. In-room childcare is available for a fee with trusted hotel babysitters and all kids’ activities on the island are fully supervised. For uninterrupted family time, each of the property’s 66 stand-alone villas have a private swimming pool for the ultimate luxurious and secluded family day together.

The kids club provides a varied and interesting schedule to ensure the interest levels of guests are maintained throughout their entire stay. The daily programmes are adventure-filled for children between the ages of 3 and 12. Activities run from 7:30am to 7:30pm daily.

The hotel offers a day trip to explore different areas of the island. The hotel itself is one hour from the capital Stone Town sitting just outside of Kizimkazi village, an area famous for its dolphin safaris. When you arrive back to the resort, the children can watch a movie at the kids’ cinema while parents unwind with specialised treatments at The Spa and experience the natural benefits of local plants and spices.
