Anantara expands presence in Europe

ANANTARA Hotels, Resorts & Spas will open its first property in the Netherlands – Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam – this autumn 2021.

Located in Dam Square in the very heart of Amsterdam, the existing property is currently operating as NH Collection Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky, an icon in the city with over 155 years of history. The museum and shopping districts are on the doorstep, making it the perfect base for exploring the heritage and cultural treasures of this fascinating capital.

In advance of the Autumn rebrand, the hotel will receive a soft refurbishment, including some of the guest rooms and suites, the garden, and a new spa and gym will be added. The 402-key Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky will embrace guests in contemporary style with Anantara’s signature touches.  The two-bedroom Presidential Suite, a spacious layout of 100 sqm, provides ample room for family or friends travelling together. Alternatively, the Royal Suite, overlooking the Royal Palace of Amsterdam, offers 150 sqm of luxury facilities and amenities which will make guests feel like royalty.

 

Safir Hotels & Resorts busy at ATM

SAFIR Hotels & Resorts’ (SHR) participated in the 28th edition of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) Dubai where it showcased its portfolio of 10 operational properties and unveiled its newest property, future re-openings, and refurbishment plans.

One of the most important topics highlighted at the forum was Safir’s newest property, the Safir Sharm El Sheikh resort, which joined the hotel management company’s portfolio in early 2021.

Safir presented itself in the forum in line with its SAFER@SAFIR initiative, which was launched by the company at the start of the pandemic in cooperation with specialized international institutions. The SAFER@SAFIR measures are intended to limit the spread of COVID-19 through the application of strict health controls to ensure compliance with all local and international precautionary measures. By providing the necessary protection for the work team and its guests alike, Safir provides a distinctive hotel experience to its customers in a safe environment.

 

Shangri-La Group launches Fam.ily brand

SHANGRI-La Group has announced the launch of Shangri-La’s family experience brand Fam.ily that will create best-loved experiences for multi-generational families as well as provide support for customers on their parenting journeys. This new offering reflects Shangri-La’s Asian heritage and strong family culture, it also reaffirms the brand’s commitment to evolving with customers to fulfil ever-changing demands and delivering on the brand promise of heartfelt hospitality. The Fam.ily brand houses a variety of new and existing programmes specially designed to enable family guests to realise their Shangri-La, both individually and with one another, as they explore, bond, and grow together.

The Fam.ily brand logo comprises two parts: ‘fam’, the shortened word for ‘family’, and ‘ily’, the abbreviation for ‘I Love You’, connected by an infinity symbol. At the centre of the symbol is a heart-shaped knot, symbolising the love shared by family members and the strong ties that bind them. The logo reflects Shangri-La’s commitment to go beyond service by inviting guests to be part of an integrated family-centric experience.

 

Wyndham unveils Registry Collection Hotels
