Cloud7 brand debuts in Ayla Aqaba
Specialist mixed-use operator Kerten Hospitality is debuting its Cloud7 aspirational brand in the Middle East with the opening of Cloud7 Residence Ayla Aqaba in the heart of Jordan’s lifestyle destination Ayla Resort.

A model of seaside living, Cloud7 Residence will further diversify the tourism offerings in Aqaba, generating additional demand for luxury accommodations with its four apartment categories ranging from one to four bedrooms. Each of its 75 fully serviced apartments features a modern design that incorporates authentic Middle Eastern influences, impeccable service and warm hospitality that caters to different age groups in a cosy, family-friendly setting.

Additionally, over 90 dining, entertainment and retail outlets will offer guests customized experiences during their long-term visits and staycations in the heart of the eco-friendly oasis and the Marina Village, which was also conceived to host artistic and cultural events all year round.

 

Aksoy Holding & Marriott enter into a strategic deal
Aksoy Holding has signed an agreement with Marriott International to brand its 126,000 sqm private peninsula - Epique Island - in Bodrum, under The Ritz-Carlton Residences. The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Bodrum, will mark the first stand-alone branded residential project for Marriott in the region when it opens in Q2 2021, will bring a new era of luxury living to Bodrum.

The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Bodrum offers luxury living surrounded by the Aegean Sea. In addition to the 74 private villas that are located to preserve the sense of intimacy for its residents, the development includes sun terraces and piers that spread across the peninsula, sand beach, community pool, natural ponds, a kids club, a restaurant, fitness centre and a clubhouse with an owners lounge, spa, and meeting facilities.

The Residences will be managed by The Ritz-Carlton, with a dedicated residential management team committed to delivering the legendary service the brand is renowned for around the world. The dedicated team will ensure seamless delivery of services such as valet, in-residence dining, and concierge services.

 

Minor Hotels to manage Ibn Battuta Gate property
UAE-headquartered upscale residential, hospitality, and commercial property developer Seven Tides has confirmed Minor Hotels will be the new operator of its iconic five-star, 396-key Ibn Battuta Gate property in Dubai.

Minor Hotels is now managing the property, which will be rebranded to Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Dubai Hotel, the newest addition to the Oaks Hotels, Resorts, and Suites portfolio, its second branded property in Dubai and its third in the United Arab Emirates.

The five-star hotel is situated opposite Ibn Battuta Mall, which has more than 270 shops, 50 restaurants and a 21-screen cinema. With the Dubai Metro close by, guests can travel conveniently across the city, to many of Dubai’s tourist highlights and business districts.

Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Dubai Hotel offers modern accommodation options for both business and leisure travellers. These include 352 guest rooms across three different categories, plus 44 suites. The three guest room types – Premier, Deluxe and Executive – are stylishly furnished with Moroccan influences, whilst the Suites have décor inspired by the explorer Ibn Battuta’s adventures across the world.
