The exclusive retreat not only straddles the equator but is also nestled in the foothills of Africa’s second highest peak (Mount Kenya).

The hotel marks its 60th anniversary this year and to celebrate this milestone a new gourmet restaurant has recently opened and in the pipeline are two new villas, a new spa and wellness offering, CSR activities and conservation project.

The itinerary concludes at Fairmont Mara Safari Club, where the thrill of safari awaits. Combining a traditional camping experience with the comfort of a luxury resort hotel including four-poster beds and en-suite bathrooms, the resort is the perfect base for leisure and guided safari game drives.

dusitD2 Nairobi begins work

DUSIT International has announced it will reopen the dusitD2 Nairobi hotel at the heart of the 14 Riverside complex, located in Nairobi’s exclusive Westlands neighbourhood. The 14 Riverside complex is a major commercial hub, housing numerous restaurants, shops, international offices and the dusitD2 hotel.
