Spoil your family at the newly opened luxurious Turkish Riviera resort Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum. New fitness and wellness facilities, a butler service for every room category and specially curated room packages are now available at the resort that overlooks the aptly named Paradise Bay. For younger guests, exciting educational activities that encourage confidence building and creativity are offered in partnership with Gymboree Play & Music, a world leader in childhood development in more than 50 countries since 1976.

At the resort’s Beach Kids Club and Indoor Kids Club, the experienced Gymboree team will present programmes tailored to different age groups that help improve children’s cognitive, physical, social and emotional skills through play. Other Gymboree services will include organising birthday parties and giving private lessons in swimming, fitness and English.

SEMINYAK BEACH RESORT

Located just 890km south of the equator, Bali’s tropical climate and moderate weather conditions make for a splendid family holiday at any time of the year. With its world-class clubs and restaurants, and expansive villas perfect for all your family, the recently relaunched Seminyak Beach Resort and Spa provides a welcome escape from the outside world. THE RESIDENCE MAURITIUS

Sat on the east coast of Mauritius, along one of the island’s most beautiful beaches, The Residence Mauritius provides the perfect family holiday with a collection of suites and interconnecting rooms and a personal butler. The hotel’s family concierge promises a personalised, tailor-made itinerary of bespoke experiences with everything from late night sitters and yoga classes for kids to Unesco World Heritage Site visits and mini massages at the spa. Families can head to the Black River Gorges National Park to see the protected tropical hardwood trees, or embark on an eco-tour to Ile aux Aigrettes Nature Reserve, where Mauritius’ lost paradise is being lovingly restored. For a sense of the island’s history, groups can visit its two Unesco World Heritage Sites, including the impressive Le Morne Cultural Landscape, a rugged mountain that juts into the ocean where runaway slaves once sought shelter and formed settlements.

SHANGRI-LA HOTEL, SINGAPORE

Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore launched its child-friendly services with Buds by Shangri-La, a 2,150-square-metre indoor and outdoor play space devoted to children between the ages of one and 12 years. The interactive play space is designed to encourage fun and family time as well as learning through play. Themed activity spaces have been created for budding artists, performers and chefs, plus there is a party room for celebrations. For peace of mind, each child wears a radio-frequency enabled wristband so parents can monitor the child’s location. As part Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore’s recent Tower Wing renovation, the hotel created 19 new deluxe family rooms and five themed family suites each accommodating two adults and two children under 12 years. The suites and rooms measure 76 and 38 square metres, respectively, and are located on a dedicated family floor. Suites offer dream-themed beds, including a castle and space craft. In addition, the hotel offers a wide range of childcare amenities including car seats, strollers, travel cots and even bath time toys so families can travel lighter.

Tariffs for the family suites start at $1,200 per night for the month of June.

 

SYMPHONY STYLE HOTEL KUWAIT

Symphony Style Hotel Kuwait has introduced a dedicated party room and teens hub to accommodate the high demand for children’s birthdays and provide teens with a new place to hang out and celebrate. Situated on the newly renovated third floor, the teens hub is a dynamic entertainment zone exclusively for teenage boys and girls.
