As part of its continuous efforts to market emerging Chinese destinations, the “Beautiful China Amazing Ningxia” Introduction Conference was held at JW Marriott Marquise in Dubai. The event was hosted by Tourism Development Commission of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and attended by representatives from Dubai Tourism Bureau, Chinese and Foreign travel agencies, news media and more than 120 other professionals.
Explaining Ningxia’s potential, Hu Ling, vice president of Chia Association of Travel Services and chairman of Ningxia Travel Agency Association, said, “Ningxia, has abundant scenic spot with traditional Hui folk culture, and ranked one of the world’s 46 best places to visit by The New York Times. With Emirates airline’s direct flight to Ningxia, are looking forward to welcoming everyone from the UAE and beyond.”
Ningxia is in the middle of the map of China with the Yellow river flowing through it. Prominent among the touristic attractions are the age-old Yellow River culture, the pre-historic civilization of the province and “China’s Top 10 most attractive wetlands” Shahu Lake. Combining sceneries of deserts, the Yellow river, mountains and oasis, Ningxia is indeed a miniature world within China.
