Fairmont Hotels & Resorts opened its doors to Fairmont Quasar Istanbul in January 2017 and after successful visitor numbers from the GCC, the hotel now plans to attract larger family groups.

The hotel has hosted over 7,500 travellers from the GCC since opening, a staggering 50 per cent of the hotel’s overall guests, with many of them being check ins of one or two people.

“Our aim for the next quarter is to increase appeal and awareness for families from the GCC region and wider Middle East.” said Kai Winkler, general manager. “The hotel is an ideal choice for larger Arabic families with its family rooms, interconnecting rooms and large suites.”

As part of the plans to increase the family sector, Fairmont Quasar Istanbul has launched a fixed family rate for GCC guests to include a spacious king size bedroom for parents and a twin bedroom for children from Dh1,600, with breakfast and access to the outdoor infinity pool included.

All rooms have a Qibla sign and can be equipped with a Quran and prayer mat which are available from reception upon check-in and little ones can enjoy the in-room PlayStation 4, DVD player, Apple TV and I-pads.

Winkler continued, “At Fairmont Quasar Istanbul, we recognise the requirements and needs of each culture, welcoming Arabic travellers with a level of service and personalisation we know they expect and enjoy.”

The hotel also adopts an Arabic culinary section within its Stations restaurant, as well as boasting a Turkish kebab cooking grill within the local Aila restaurant. Shisha service is available on the fifth floor terrace overlooking the Bosphorus as well as a Willow Stream Spa with separate male and female treatment rooms plus a Turkish hammam; all key attractions for the Middle Eastern guest. - TradeArabia News Service
