Floating waterpark added to resort

Another waterpark has been added to Dubai’s portfolio – an exclusive inflatable water park at JA Jebel Ali Golf Resort, the award-winning family beach resort in Dubai. JA Wibit Water Park, which is set up in the Gulf waters in front of the resort’s private beach, is open daily from 10am to 6pm and welcomes adults and children over the age of 6, or taller than 1.1 metres. A lifeguard is always on duty and swim jackets are available. Designed in Germany, the park incorporates a five-layer seam and strong UV-protected PVC sheeting according to European safety standards.

“The initial feedback has been fantastic,” says Jörg Dittrich, director of sports and leisure at JA Jebel Ali Golf Resort. “We’ve seen people giddy with excitement, and the view back to the resort is quite something. Many parents also enjoy the opportunity to join their children for quality family fun.”

Guests who book all-inclusive packages at one of the resort’s two hotels, will be able to access the JA Wibit Water Park free of charge, while other resort guests and those staying at sister hotels JA Ocean View Hotel and JA Oasis Beach Tower can take advantage of preferential rates.

Day visitors are also welcomed at Dh60 ($16) per adult and Dh40 ($11) per child under 12 years for the whole day, which is in addition to the resort’s daily beach and pool access fee.

Its range of superior facilities and three dedicated children’s clubs resulted in JA Jebel Ali Golf Resort winning the World Travel Award as ‘World’s Leading Family Resort’ for four consecutive years. The resort has two hotels, namely JA Jebel Ali Beach Hotel and JA Palm Tree Court. At the TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice Awards last month, JA Palm Tree Court was voted by thousands of travellers as one of the top five hotels for families in the Middle East.
