British Airways has re-launched its First class washbags with a new range of luxury products from the English perfumer Penhaligon’s. This perfume pioneer has received three Royal Warrants, most recently from HRH The Prince of Wales in 1988. Former British prime minister Winston Churchill favoured Penhaligon’s products and ‘Winnie’s’ favourite scent known as ‘Bleinheim Bouquet’, is featured in the new first class washbag.
As well as the signature ‘Blenheim Bouquet’ fragrance, British Airways and Penhaligon’s have together selected items (a body lotion, face moisturiser, lip balm and eye cream) which will calm, cool and refresh passengers during long haul flights. The carrier features many of the UK’s most prestigious artists, designers and chefs in first class including Kelly Hoppen interiors, chef Shaun Hill’s menus and Charbonnel & Walker’s chocolates. Accessories designer Anya Hindmarch has also created a special bag for the luxurious Penhaligon’s products.
