Kuwait International Airport, which is in the midst of an expansion, has opened a new five-star lounge called the Pearl Lounge.

The lounge sets new standards in quality services and five-star hospitality with unsurpassed levels of comfort and luxury for VIP travellers, says its operator, National Aviation Services (NAS).
Staffed by professional and courteous personnel, the lounge offers:
•  Fast track immigration
• Comfortable seating area  with satellite TV, DVD,    VCD, CD & SACD, and   hi-fi systems.
•  Business Centre and    meeting room, with free   internet connection, fax,   printers, and scanners
• Wireless internet facility   throughout the lounge
•  Shower facilities
•  Separate smoking area
•  Massage room
•  Children’s play area
•  Five-star catered food    court  and service bar
•  Washrooms, equipped    with a baby changer
•  24/7 service.
‘‘The new lounge is a result of the rapid growth and growth of Kuwait International Airport (KIA),’’ says a NAS spokesman.
‘‘Along with this growth came a need had risen for a one-stop-shop passenger/travel service centre – and NAS National Aviation Services (NAS) was established to accommodate such growth.’’
NAS offers a host of essential, innovative and value added services to its customers, ranging from ground handling and cargo services to commercial services.
Its services are complemented with highly qualified and professional staff with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the aviation industry, customer safety and care.
