ILTM announces exclusive club

The International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) has announced the creation of the “ILTM Signatory Club”.

The Club will be exclusively for exhibitors and buyers deemed by their peers and the ILTM board, to epitomise luxury travel at the very highest levels. In the future, only members of the ILTM Signatory Club will be able to participate.
ILTM is committed to  restricting the number of exhibitors and buyers who attend ILTM in 2005 and in future editions (a growth of no more than 12 per cent from 2004) to avoid the dilution of the products and services on offer and to ensure that only the most senior decision  makers attend as buyers.
“As the global market of luxury travel expands, membership to ILTM is becoming even more exclusive as any private members’ club should be. ‘It’s all about who we don’t let in rather than who we do,” says Sarah Ball, marketing manager.
For ILTM 2005 only, all participants to the exhibition will become privileged members to the ILTM Signatory Club for one year until January 2006. In January 2006 there will be peer voting, the results of which will be sent to the Signatory Club Board who retain the restricted right of  approval.
Following the review and voting of Signatory Club 2005 members in January 2006 a full list will be published and distributed to all the relevant press and media in February 2006.  In the future members’ voting will take place in the January of each year following the exhibition with the resulting Signatory Club Members List being published in the February.
Each member company is certified to use the ILTM Signatory Club logo on any of their promotional materials throughout the year endorsing their superior position within the luxury travel industry.
The official launch party of the ILTM Signatory Club will take place at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London on May 16, 2005.
