ETIHAD Airways has launched its new in-house tour operation, Etihad Holidays, which will function as a strategic business unit and market its own unique range of holidays and leisure products.
Etihad Holidays offers the option of flying with both Etihad Airways and other leading airlines, thus enabling the most comprehensive range of holidays to be made available.
The first brochure features more than 170 hotels in 35 of the most popular holiday destinations in 14 countries, and also includes car rental/fly-drive packages, cruises, spa holidays, cruises, and pre-bookable excursions. General manager Nick Wood said that Etihad Holidays would offer a whole new range of affordable holidays targeted at families, couples and singles from the local and expatriate communities. “Our aim has been to create a new range of holidays that have a broad-based appeal with no hidden costs.” Wood added that consumers and travel agents could be assured of top quality service from experienced travel consultants in a dedicated Etihad Holidays guest service centre, which is being set up in Abu Dhabi.
