Ramada Yerevan woos Middle East guests

Ramada Hotels & Suites by Wyndham Yerevan has pride of place in the centre of the Armenian capital, overlooking the Republic Square.

There is no place quite as central to Yerevan as the Republic Square – it has the seat of the government, a national museum – a circle of impressive buildings that create a plaza with the snowcapped Mount Ararat as the dramatic backdrop.

“I take immense pride in sharing that our hotel has a devoted following of guests from the Middle East who cherish their vacations in Armenia and consistently choose our establishment for their stays,” Karen Avetisian, General Manager, Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Yerevan, tells TTN.

“Our primary focus is on the burgeoning Middle Eastern market, which continues to demonstrate a rising trajectory. This past year, we orchestrated a splendid New Year Gala Dinner, with a notable contingent of attendees hailing from Middle Eastern nations.

“Looking ahead, we are poised to forge stronger collaborations with operators from Gulf countries, actively engage in tourism events, and take part in regional exhibitions.”

What Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham offers in Yerevan is a wide variety of specs in 202 rooms across 12 categories ensuring fulfilment of diverse guest requirements. Some of the hotel rooms are equipped with bidets and breakfast offerings include Halal food options for guests from the Middle East, the General Manager tells us.

“The Ramada brand, owned by the largest hotel operator Wyndham, is well-known to residents of the Middle East. The main slogan of our network, ‘We make hotel travel possible for all,’ perfectly aligns with our hotel.

“Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Yerevan is located in the heart of Armenia’s capital. The hotel offers a wide range of room categories, from standard to deluxe rooms with a kitchen and comfortable multi-room family suites. Our hotel’s upper windows offer views of the Republic Square and the iconic silhouette of Mount Ararat.

“Our restaurant, Secret Yard, serves a unique buffet breakfast with a wide range of food options. The lobby bar has a wide drink selection, and Room Service is available 24/7. We also have a Japanese restaurant on the 13th floor and a day-and-night fitness centre.”

During our visit to the hotel, we stayed in a suite on the 13th floor which has a spacious common area with massive sofa set, an F&B corner and writing desk, and a cosy bedroom section. We loved that the complimentary coffee and tea supplies were from the house of Julius Meinl, well-known in the streets of Vienna among coffee and tea lovers.

The suite came with two large balconies, apart from the floor to ceiling glass façade of the living area to ensure the enthralling view of Armenia’s Republic Square was a constant companion. Swathes of natural light at daytime make the living space relaxed and comfortable even if overlooking one of the busiest crossings in the country.

With the Republic Square metro a few steps away, the shopping district a short walk from the hotel and the airport no more than 25-minutes by car, getting around from Ramada Yerevan is stress-free.

The hotel’s modern gym on level minus one is a zone for fitness enthusiasts. Relaxed being the continuous vibe of the hotel, it is no surprise then, that the lobby bar is suitably named, Ease. This is where intimate social catchups take place with tasty drinks on hand.

“In May, we are opening the summer terrace of the Secret Yard restaurant with a refreshed concept and an exquisite menu to suit every taste. Throughout the summer season, we plan to host various events and shows on the terrace. Additionally, the summer season in Yerevan is rich in events such as Yerevan Gastronomic Days, which will take place near the hotel. By choosing us, guests will be able to enjoy a relaxing stay at our hotel and create unforgettable memories from their trip.

Avetisian adds: “Our hotel is a top pick for both leisure and business travellers, thanks to its great location and variety of room options. We have four modern conference halls, including a flexible transformer hall, along with relaxing coffee break spots, including one on the second-floor terrace. Whether you’re attending a conference or an event, we offer fantastic business lunches, coffee breaks and delicious banquet menus to make your stay enjoyable and productive.
