The Neela Boutique Hotel Stone Town opens

FAMILIES, adventurers and business travellers can now reserve the ultimate luxury escape at The Neela Boutique Hotel Stone Town, the first of two new offerings from The Neela Collection in Zanzibar’s historic city and the Fumba Peninsula. The second Neela Collection property is scheduled for 2024.

Welcoming its first guests from July 15, The Neela Boutique Hotel Stone Town has prioritised comfort and relaxation in 14 Deluxe and Superior rooms conceptualised by internationally renowned interior designer Nelly Levin.

Seamlessly marrying vintage and new elements, the hotel draws from Stone Town’s rich cultural history and African, Arab, Indian, Persian and European influences to offer guests a warm and welcoming experience that is both contemporary and steeped in tradition.

 

Ras Al Khaimah to welcome Le Meridien

MARJAN, the master-developer of freehold properties in Ras Al Khaimah, has welcomed the signing of an agreement between Marriott International and Three Musketeers Hospitality (TMH), a UAE-based real estate developer, to bring Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts to Ras Al Khaimah.

The new Le Méridien Al Marjan Island Resort & Spa will enhance the premium hospitality offerings on Marjan’s flagship Al Marjan Island with the expected addition of 350 keys by 2026.

The resort, developed by Three Musketeers Hospitality (TMH), a wholly owned subsidiary of UAE-based Plus Holding Limited (PHL) founded by Jaideep Halwasiya, Surendra Bagri and Hari Tibrewala, is located on a prime beachfront location and is the latest addition to Al Marjan Island’s growing portfolio of hospitality destinations that are a key pillar in the northern Emirate’s rising visitor numbers from around the world.

Plans for the new hospitality destination feature seven food and beverage venues and a range of recreational facilities including a fitness centre, swimming pool, spa and kids club.

 

The Heritage Grand Perast by Rixos reopens

RIXOS, the leading all-inclusive resort brand, arrives in Montenegro with its first hotel, The Heritage Grand Perast, which re-opened in April 2023. This is a significant milestone for Accor and Rixos as its first hotel in the country. 

The Heritage Grand Perast by Rixos, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was fully renovated over the last two years to become an immersive resort destination offering guests a luxury experience.

Following the renovation, the hotel has four buildings – Smekja, Jadran, Grado, and Teodo – offering 130 rooms, including eight duplex rooms, a Royal Suite, and Royal Duplex Suite.

The Heritage Grand Perast by Rixos will be home to a diverse range of restaurants and bars, including Panoramic, a restaurant located on the first floor of Smekja Palace; Piazza, a restaurant serving a range of a la carte dishes; three seafront terraces including Riva, situated next to the outdoor swimming pool.

 

Rotana partners with Memar

ROTANA, one of the leading hotel management companies in the region with over 100 properties across the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe and Turkey, announced its ambitious pipeline across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the Future Hospitality Summit (FHS) 2023, signing four Edge by Rotana and one Rayhaan by Rotana property in partnership with Memar Development & Investment. 

Guy Hutchinson, President & CEO of Rotana, and Eng. Abdulaziz Al Meqren, CEO of Memar Development & Investment, were both present at the official signing of the agreement at FHS’s Global Stage on May 9, 2023.

Commenting on the partnership, Hutchinson said: “Saudi Arabia presents one of the fastest-growing markets in the region, increasingly establishing itself as a leading tourist destination. These new properties located in the heart of Riyadh include a mix of hotels and serviced apartments, offering our guests diverse options to suit their varying needs. We are excited to partner with Memar Development & Investment on this project as we work together to deliver on Rotana’s singular brand promise of delivering ‘Treasured Time’ for all our guests.”
