Accor renews management contract for Makkah hotel
Accor, a leading hospitality group with over 400 hotels across India, Middle East, Africa and Turkey, has confirmed that it will continue operating ZamZam Pullman Makkah following a tender process amongst top hospitality companies.

Global leader in real estate and hospitality advisory services, JLL Hotels & Hospitality, managed the process.
The group renews its management agreement with Munshaat Real Estate Projects Co, a Kuwaiti company. Over the last 20 years, the company has been investing in the hospitality sector in the Holy Cities, with notable real-estate including the ZamZam Pullman Makkah and ZamZam Pullman Madinah to name a few.

Opened in 2006, the hotel is located in Abraj Al Bait building in Makkah. The hotel features over 1,300 rooms, out of which the standard rooms are 37 sq.m. in size, while its suite inventory ranges from 45 to 148 sq.m., both featuring Kaaba, Haram and City views.
In addition to the guest rooms, the property features seven food and beverage outlets, including four international restaurants, an Arabic restaurant, two lounges, retail shops and a business centre.
As part of the renewal agreement, the property will undergo an extensive renovation with a SAR 125 million ($33 million) investment, which will be completed by 2025.

Accor currently operates 39 properties (14,301 keys) in Saudi Arabia, eight of which are located in Makkah, with another 37 properties (10,115 keys) in the pipeline throughout the Kingdom.-TradeArabia News Service
