A study by Compare The Market analysed popular destinations on a number of factors such as things to do, affordability, and the local weather, among others from which an overall weighted score was created and each country was ranked.

The survey found the Italian city of Venice to be the best in the world where people would like to buy a holiday home with Abu Dhabi ranked as the third best place to purchase a holiday home in the research. Things to do per 10,000 people, restaurants per 10,000 people, crime index score, average monthly cost of living for a family of four, average price of property per sq.m., average temperature and average monthly rainfall were the factors on which the overall score was based.-TradeArabia News Service
