Dubai-based Flydubai has announced that it has temporarily halted passenger services to and from Israel for about a week starting today (January 26), said a report.

This comes after Israel confirmed it will ban foreign airlines from flying in and out of the country in a bid to curb the spread of coronavirus infections, said a report in Zawya.

“In line with the notice to airmen issued by the authorities in Israel, Flydubai flights from Dubai International to Tel Aviv Ben Gurion International Airport have been suspended,” a spokesperson told Zawya.

“Passengers who are booked to travel on these flights will be offered a refund or the option to rebook to a later date,” the spokesperson said.
