OMAN AIR, the National Carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, now flies daily direct service between Greece and Oman, with the first flight departing Muscat International Airport to Athens International Airport on June 1.
The inaugural flight hosted the airline’s senior vice-president, international sales, Laurent Recoura, and regional vice-president, Oman, Jamal Al Azki, and honorary consul of Greece in Oman Dr Elias Nikolakopoulos. Kim Thomson, publishing director of TTN, was also on board.
Recoura tells TTN: “We are on budget, we are growing the average seat level. Our problem like many airlines is the cost, but a lot of initiatives are in place.”
The growth of the airline’s network to Greece follows shorty after it announced flights to Alexandria, Egypt.
