Lahore Regency Private Limited and Marriott International have signed an agreement to open the first Four Points by Sheraton hotel in Pakistan.

Previously known as Hospitality Inn Lahore, the hotel will be converted to the Four Points by Sheraton Lahore in Q2 2019 and will boast the brand’s approachable design and excellent service at an honest value. Lahore Regency Private Limited will invest a total of $2.5 million on the conversion.

“We are delighted to collaborate with Marriott International to open the Four Points by Sheraton Lahore,” said Khurram Khawaja, chief executive and managing director, Lahore Regency Private Limited.

“With the tourism market in Pakistan set to grow in the coming years, we are looking at ways in which we can redefine travel experiences for travellers from across the globe. Given the hotel’s strategic location near key landmarks and attractions and the Four Points by Sheraton’s signature programs and services, this hotel will surely be the destination of choice for all travellers looking to visit Lahore,” he said.

Jerome Briet, chief development officer, Middle East & Africa for Marriott International, commented: “We are excited to debut the Four Points by Sheraton brand in Pakistan and further strengthen our relationship with Lahore Regency Private Limited. Four Points by Sheraton is one of the fastest growing hospitality brands in the world that is gaining great traction with developers across the region and resonates very well with today’s independent traveller. We continue to see great opportunities to further expand our brand portfolio in Pakistan and support the country’s overall tourism vision.”

The Four Points by Sheraton Lahore will feature 117 well-appointed guestrooms, all featuring the Four Points Signature Bed. Reflecting the Four Points by Sheraton’s promise to provide what matters most to today’s independent travellers, the hotel offers the brand’s defining touches.

The hotel will also offer a diverse range of food and beverage outlets including Red Lotus, a Chinese restaurant with rich and bold flavours of the Szechuan Cuisine; Koyla, a rooftop restaurant with BBQ specialities; Lahore Gates Café which offers an extensive variety of local and international dishes; and The Pastry Shop for a café style experience with delicious coffee and light bites. Other facilities at the hotel include a fitness centre and a rooftop swimming pool, as well as three banquet halls and two meeting rooms - all equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
