BREIDENBACHER Hof in Dusseldorf Germany, opened a 600 sqm new spa facility late last year at the cost of €2.5 million ($2.9 million). The announcement comes hot on the heels of the hotel opening up its royal floor, which can be rented out whole, for $32,450 per night.
The new spa features a gym, an indoor pool and sauna facilities. Located in the basement of the iconic five-star hotel it offers easy access for hotel guests and is ideal for relaxing and working-out after a shopping tour in the Rhine metropolis.
The colour and light concept gives it a modern and yet warm and cosy appeal. The reception area in the centre of the complex caters for bathing towels, coats and refreshments like fruit-infused water for self-service. An array of fresh fruits complements the offer.
The 4.5 by 10 metre swimming pool is framed by a shimmering stone wall in grey and sand shades. A hydro massage stream and integrated waterfall give the guests an extra portion of recreation and well-being. On the rim of the pool a beautiful lounge area allows guests to rest and alleviate stress in a calm and serene atmosphere.
Sauna and steam-bath lovers can choose between three different spa experiences: a Finnish sauna for ladies (90 ° Celsius) and a Finnish mixed sauna (90 ° Celsius). In addition, guests can indulge in a mixed steam bath and a vapour shower that produces mist or tropical rain and offers a variety of jets for massage. Highlight is a mood lighting concept that has a positive influence on people´s spirits, especially in the cold and dark season of the year.
