ON the retail side, with growing interest and demand from premium luxury brands to expand their presence at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, many luxury duplex stores will be completed in 2014. The mall will also feature expanded options for luxury children’s wear including the newly opened first Baby Dior in Southeast Asia.
Marina Bay Sands recently announced an extended culinary repertoire with the announcement of partnerships with Gordon Ramsay and David Myers. In 2015, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay will join the ranks of other international chefs on-board Marina Bay Sands’ unrivalled celebrity chef programme that includes Mario Batali, Daniel Boulud, Wolfgang Puck, Tetsuya Wakuda, Justin Quek and David Thompson. Gordon Ramsay will be launching his successful Bread Street Kitchen concept at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Los Angeles chef and restaurateur David Myers’ new concept restaurant will open in early 2015. Set to open at Marina Bay Sands in the fourth quarter of this year is Long Chim by internationally acclaimed chef, restaurateur and cookbook author David Thompson. On the entertainment front, the property has hosted The Rolling Stones, PSY, Elton John and Korean super star Rain. Come November, the well-loved Broadway musical Mamma Mia will also show at the MasterCard Theatres.
