CEBU Pacific is all set to launch non-stop flights between Kuwait and Manila this September 2. The Philippines’ largest carrier will launch thrice weekly flights between Kuwait and Manila, becoming the only airline offering non-stop services between the Philippines and Kuwait, where more than 180,000 Filipinos work.

The Manila-Kuwait service will be every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, departing Manila at 9:30pm and arriving in Kuwait at 3:10am. The return flight will be every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, departing Kuwait at 4:40am and arriving in Manila at 7:20pm.

The airline offered an introductory Kuwait-Manila KWD1 ($3.5) seat sale fare from mid-June until seats last, for travel from September 2 to December 31. These are exclusive of fuel surcharge, country taxes and other fees.

“We are very excited to finally be able to offer a direct, non-stop service between Manila and Kuwait,” says the general manager for the airline’s long-haul division, Alex Reyes. “We remain true to our goal of serving global Filipinos, wherever they may be, so they can go home or travel more often. It is always music to our ears when passengers tell us they can now travel long-haul more than once a year, primarily because of our low fares.”

SYDNEY TO MANILA

Cebu Pacific is also slated to launch four non-stop weekly flights between Manila and Sydney on September 9 this year. As the only low-cost carrier offering this route, the airline hopes to stimulate travel both ways. There are also over 300,000 Filipinos based in Australia.

These new routes will utilise the carrier’s brand-new Airbus A330-300 aircraft with a configuration of 436 all-economy class seats. It offers fast and convenient same-terminal connecting flights for guests taking advantage of its extensive Philippine network.
