AQUA Park, Qatar’s premier water themed park, aims to continue building a strong reputation in offering an ideal fun destination within the region, for families as well as corporate gusts.
The Aqua Park’s main advantage is its location, situated amidst the business district of Doha and offering easy access and focal entry for GCC countries.
The park extends to an area of 50,000 sq m and features a giant wave pool with six different patterns of artificial waves, a 200 m lazy river, a children activity pool with five coloured slides and its most popular attraction, a giant tipping bucket.
Other rides include multiple lane slides, a high speed side-by-side multi-lane slide which features four colourful lanes, a lagoon with a Jacuzzi as well as the newly-built Boomerango and Spaceboat.
The park offers a designated area for toddlers, the African Village featuring a shallow water playground with animal-shaped slides and mushroom sowers.
Dining venues include a juice station and restaurant.
Aqua Park is also set to become a prime venue for all types of business and corporate requirements, which it plans to launch in the third quarter this year.
It will feature a conference and banquet area that can accommodate up to 500 guests and host a wide array of events such as product launches, corporate anniversaries, sales conventions, meetings, seminars, weddings and so on.
The park will also launch a hotel property in 2014 - the Salwa Park Resort with features including 90 rooms, two dining options, a health club with a fully-equipped gymnasium, and a spa.
