Voyager comes to UAE

ROYAL Caribbean International’s Voyager of the Seas arrived at Port Rashid in the UAE for the first time last month. Voyager of the Seas is one of the biggest cruise ships to dock in Dubai and the first among a class of ships that revolutionised the cruise industry by introducing the active cruise vacation, debuting the first on-board ice-skating rink and rock-climbing wall.

Another stunning feature is the Royal Promenade, an interior boulevard that runs nearly the ship’s length; flanked by restaurants, lounges and boutiques and where lively parades and evening street parties are held. This area is the heart of the ship for evening activity.

On-board offerings include the Vitality Spa with over 100 treatments such as medi-spa treatments and acupuncture, four pools including the Solarium, six whirlpools, a state-of-the-art Fitness Centre, with classes including yoga and tai chi.

The ship will operate summer departures out of Singapore and Shanghai in 2012 with a series of four to seven night cruises to different exotic Southeast Asian, Japanese and Korean destinations.

Thereafter, the ship will sail via Singapore to Australia making Sydney her new home and visiting ports around Australia and New Zealand.
