THE Dolder Grand Spa in Zurich has recently introduced the new Amala skincare range, whose products contain 100 per cent natural ingredients. The Nature-certified products are based on focal ingredients, such as jasmine, cocoa, blue lotus, desert fig or myrtle. The Dolder Grand Spa, which has received various awards, is a spa oasis encompassing 4,000 sq m, and a member of the Leading Spas of the World.
Three and a half years since its opening, the Dolder Grand Spa has introduced a new skincare range in Zurich’s largest spa oasis. Amala products contain 100 per cent natural ingredients from the whole plant, representing controlled organic cosmetics. “The demand for organic products is high and reflects the spirit of our time,” comments Jann Hess, director of Spa. “We are delighted that, with Amala, we have found a high-quality, natural premium product in this field.”
Ingredients used by Amala are harvested exclusively from sources employing controlled organic cultivation. When extracted, the ingredients of the whole plant are used to retain its full effect. The products are free from synthetic or genetically modified substances, chemical preservatives and ingredients that have been tested on animals, and they are even free from synthetic emulsifiers. Thus Amala has been awarded the Natrue quality seal by the internationally active association True Friends of Natural and Organic Cosmetics.
With Amala, new treatments will be introduced to the Spa Menu including the signature, 90-minute Nature’s Organic Seasonal Facial and the Vedic Marma vital-points technique to regenerate your skin.
The Dolder Grand Spa was awarded the British Tatler Spa Award and the German Gala Spa Award, and in October 2011 the American SpaFinder named it Best Spa of Switzerland. Guests at the Spa have access to the large swimming pool with a view of the natural surroundings, the Japanese-inspired sunaburo, the Ladies’ Spa or the Gentlemen’s Spa and the large Workout Studio. The relaxation, chillout and meditation areas are the perfect places to repose. Treatments are administered using the exclusive product lines La Prairie, Kerstin Florian and Amala. In addition to Hotel guests, Day Spa guests and members of the Spa Members Club can also visit the Dolder Grand Spa.
