JET Airways will begin daily flights from Sharjah, UAE, to Thiruvananthapuram in India from October 30, 2011.
The carrier currently operates a daily service from Sharjah to Kochi and this will be its 10th daily offering from the UAE to India and the 22nd Jet Airways flight from the Gulf to India.
The airline will deploy Boeing 737-800 aircraft on the new route, offering 16 premiere and 138 economy seats and guaranteeing a best-in-class product with warm service, award-winning in-flight entertainment and high-standard cuisine.
The additional flight will provide customers with an even wider choice of timings throughout the day between the UAE and India with the flights conveniently scheduled to connect with Jet Airways’ industry-leading domestic network and its fast-growing network across Asia.
Jet Airways CEO, Nikos Kardassis, said: “Jet Airways has established itself as a prominent brand in the intensely competitive Indo-Gulf sector for its service and the quality of its in-flight product. We are confident that the new service from Thiruvananthapuram to Sharjah will prove immensely popular with our guests. We believe this new route has the potential to serve the needs of our corporate and business travelers, especially from the South.”
